Paul Howell's story in his own words:
My name is Paul Howell, average guy and loving Dad to two girls. This all started when I was in the low point of my professional career. I had just been released from a special program in the Air Force, and wasn’t selected for a different unit. A few close friends suggested I try flying. I’ve always had a love for WW2 warbirds, and grew up near a small airport, so why not try flying? As soon as the wheels left the ground on my intro flight, I was hooked.
I flew every day I could, and my page was born out of finding that new purpose in my life and immersing myself in the aviation culture. I’m honored and humbled to have been selected to start pilot training in the Air Force, but one of the biggest joys in my life was showing my two daughters around an airplane and taking my usual post-PPL checkride picture with them in my arms.
