If you're an aviator there's a good chance you've been sent a spicy pilot meme. There's an even better chance that one of these memes was created by @plane_old_memes. Nick Reyzin, is the man behind the profile and this March 2020's Aviator Spotlight.
Enjoy Nick's story as he tells it in his own words:
When I was a little kid, I grew up in a house directly underneath the approach patch of KPIE airport. Every day, I’d play outside but would always drop everything to watch the planes fly overhead. Ever since then, my obsession with aviation has only continued to grow.
Now, I’m graduating high school with my commercial rating, going to Auburn University to complete my flight training and furthering my education. My goal is to end up at the airlines, just like I have dreamed about when I was a toddler.
I started my Instagram page, @plane_pilot_memes, to make people laugh and almost four years later that is still all that matters to me. Anyone who knows me in real life knows that I’m always cracking jokes and making people laugh, and this meme page is no different. Now, I get to make almost 45,000 people laugh every day. As cheesy as it sounds, that’s one of the biggest honors of my life.
